  Appomattox County Public Schools is located in central Virginia. We offer educational services to more than 2,200 students enrolled in preschool through adult classes in one high school, one middle school, one elementary school, and one primary school. Alternative middle and high school programs, gifted programs, and programs for students with special needs are also available. The public school system of Appomattox County is dedicated to excellence in education and strives to ensure that all children of school age receive the highest quality education appropriate to their individual needs and abilities.
