POMEROY-PALMER COMM SCHOOL DISTRICT

The Pomeroy-Palmer Community School District, in partnership with the community, is dedicated to providing students a safe environment with high educational standards in which students will have the opportunity to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to be productive, responsible citizens of a global society.
ROCKWELL CITY-LYTTON COMM SCHOOL DISTRICT

The South Central Calhoun Middle School and Elementary Schools are located in central and west-central Calhoun County and northeast Sac County. The district covers 205 square miles and serves a population of 460 students from the Rockwell City, Lytton, Jolley, and Twin Lakes communities. The school district is centrally located between the three larger communities of Fort Dodge, Carroll and Storm Lake and is within a easy driving distance of the major cities of Sioux City and Des Moines. Students attend preschool-4th grades at the Elementary Building, the 5th-8th grades at the Middle School Building, both located in the town of Rockwell City or 9th-12th grades at the High School Building in Lake City.
