  EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY: It shall be the mission of the District to educate all of its students to the fullest capacity possible of each student. This shall include the opportunity to develop, within a comprehensive curriculum, the ability to think logically, independently, and creatively, and to communicate effectively. Quality at all levels, equity in all endeavors, and accountability for all responsibilities shall be the characteristics of this District. The District, therefore, shall use every reasonable resource to provide a living education for culturally diverse students in order that, upon graduation, those students are qualified to meet the developments and uncertainties of the future.

  We have about 330 students from Pre-K to 12th grade. We are a 1-A School. Vision of Wells Independent School District: All Wells ISD students will learn the prescribed curriculum to a mastery level as they are taught each day. A series of successful days lead to success for each student and employee. When a child fails, we all fail. Therefore, we will prevent failure when we can, and correct when necessary because educated children are the best hope for our future.
