  Fort Towson is a closely woven community of supporting individuals. With our setting in rural Oklahoma, we believe we have been provided the opportunity to have a great place to live and raise our families. Along with the many activities in this area, we are excited that our school system is of high quality and continuing to improve. We stand behind the belief that we should enjoy the day, but improve the next! Here at Fort Towson Public School we have a tremendous amount of pride in what we have accomplished and are focused on what we have yet to achieve. Along with the many caring faculty members, our academic, extra-curricular, and social activities are of high value. We believe in educating the entire student by providing them with many different avenues to explore and challenging them to achieve greatness.

The purpose of a Goodland education is to help its students attain their full potential as persons, to develop in them a capacity and passion for lifelong learning, and to prepare them for fulfilling lives of leadership and service in society.

For Adults and Secondary Students we offer day and evening classes to provide the training you need to start your career off right, or advance in your current field. Kiamichi Technology Center is a part of the Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education System. Kiamichi Technology Center Hugo provides the student with numerous Career Pathways that can help them gain the necessary skills in their chosen Career Pathway.

  With the advent of technology and the tremendous influence it has on the lives of Soper Public School students, one of the goals for the faculty and administration is to harness this power. Discovering education from the students鈥� perspective has been proven to be one of the most, if not the most, powerful tool in student retention and achievement. For us at Soper Schools, we strive to continue improving through professional development training, self-reflection, and stakeholder input. This is not a quick process, but with careful application and patience, the outcomes are anticipated to be very positive.
