• ALLEN ISD

  
  

  The Allen Independent School District serves the rapidly growing city of Allen, Texas, a suburban community located 23 miles north of Dallas. Student enrollment has more than doubled since 1989, bringing the current number of students to more than 19,000 in grades K-12. Students attend one of 16 elementary schools, three middle schools, one freshman center and one high school.

• ANNA ISD

  
  

  The Anna Independent School District is located in a fast-growing area which covers 63 square miles in the northeast corner of Collin County. The school district consists of two elementary schools, one middle school, one high school and athletic facilities and is currently responsible for the education of approximately 2200 students. The district's motto is "Achieving Excellence Together". The Mission of Anna ISD "is to prepare students with an exemplary education that will enable them to be productive citizens within our local community and society."

  The mission of the Blue Ridge Independent School District is to provide an educational system that offers equal opportunity for every student to acquire a knowledge base on which to build for life-long learning. Further, the mission is to produce graduates able to think independently and be prepared to function in a highly competitive and rapidly changing society. Finally, the community and the District must be committed to the support of an educational system that provides quality instruction, equal opportunity, and accountability to achieve results.

Our goal is to help each child develop mentally, physically, and aesthetically. Community Independent School District will provide instruction at the highest level of quality for all students. In a cooperative effort of home and community, our youth will be prepared to meet the challenge of the future.

• FARMERSVILLE ISD

  
  

  The mission of Farmersville ISD is to provide students with opportunities for growth and proper development in social and academic skills. Our staff will strive for a courteous, positive, warm environment enriched with parental and community involvement. We are committed to building confidence in the student body while providing instructional leadership that will guide our youth to be successful in learning and to become responsible citizens.

• FRISCO ISD

  
  

  Because many are choosing to plant roots in the Frisco area, Frisco ISD is at the top of the fastest growing school districts in the state and nation growing by 10-30 percent annually from 1997-2010. The district continues to add 2,500-3,000 students each year. As of October 1, 2012, we had 42,650 students enrolled. We are projected to enroll 43,022 students in 2012-2013. Within the 75 square miles of our district, we serve residents of Collin and Denton Counties and residents of Frisco, and some portions of Plano, Little Elm, and McKinney. FISD is 30 miles north of Dallas. The district is about 50 percent built-out. By providing a unique learning environment that maximizes student opportunity and invests in meaningful relationships, the mission of the Frisco Independent School District is to partner with families and community in developing caring citizens equipped to continue learning and pursue their aspirations.

• LOVEJOY ISD

  
  

  The Lovejoy Independent School District is located on Country Club RD, three miles east of Allen and about 25 miles north of Dallas in the fast developing region of central Collin County. The district covers the area of approximately 19 square miles, bound by Plano ISD on the south, Allen ISD on the west, and McKinney ISD on the north. Lovejoy ISD is currently responsible for the education for over 3,400 students. Since 1917 Lovejoy has served the residents of Fairview, Lucas, and other surrounding neighborhoods. THE MISSION OF LOVEJOY ISD: A school district, in partnership with parents and community, committed to providing opportunities for students to reach their academic and personal potential in a changing world.

• MCKINNEY ISD

  
  

  The District is comprised of 20 elementary schools, five middle schools, three high schools, four alternative schools, and one early childhood education center. The mission of MISD, the champion for progressive learning throughout our diverse community, is to inspire and equip all students to explore, develop, and express their unique potential as innovators, critical thinkers, and collaborators through challenging, engaging and diverse learning experiences in vital partnership with our community.

• PLANO ISD

  
  

  Plano ISD serves the residents of approximately 100 square miles in southwest Collin County. This area includes 66 square miles in the City of Plano, with the balance including northern portions of the cities of Dallas and Richardson and parts of the cities of Allen, Carrollton, Garland, Lucas, Murphy, Parker and Wylie. Vision Statement: Plano ISD schools empower students to be able to adapt to new learning and career opportunities throughout their lives, collaborate with, and contribute to, the global community and to be disciplined and creative in their thinking. Mission Statement: The mission of the Plano Independent School District is to provide an excellent education for each student.

• PRINCETON ISD

  
  

  The Princeton Independent School District is a rural school system covering 60 square miles, serving not only the city of Princeton but also the surrounding communities of Culleoka, Lowry Crossing, Branch, Climax, and the west side of Lake Lavon. People here enjoy the best of both worlds: country living within an hour's drive of all the benefits of the Metroplex. A school system that believes in the traditional emphasis on the basics of math, reading and language arts, Princeton ISD also puts proper student behavior and citizenship high on the priority list. The mission of Princeton Independent School District is to inspire and enable each student to achieve his or her full potential.

• PROSPER ISD

  
  

  The mission of Prosper Independent School District is to develop and graduate motivated, academically prepared individuals with the strength of character to make contributions to a rapidly changing society through an educational system that maintains high expectations, provides quality instruction, and establishes a safe, orderly, learning environment in the community that lives its name.

• WYLIE ISD

  
  

  Wylie ISD has 19 campuses including two 4A high schools, one alternative high school, three junior high schools (grades 7 and 8), three intermediate schools (grades 5 and 6) and ten elementary campuses (grades Pre-K through 4). Wylie ISD offers an outstanding academic program with a focus on character education beginning in elementary school. The curriculum includes a wide range of programs from culinary arts to television production. The district emphasizes technology in the classroom and as a communications tool for parents. The district opened its 10th elementary campus, Watkins Elementary, in August 2010. THE MISSION OF WYLIE ISD IS TO SUSTAIN A CULTURE OF HIGH EXPECTATIONS WHILE VALUING UNITY, RELATIONSHIPS, AND TRUST.
