SPUR ISD

Spur ISD is located in Spur, TX, Dickens County. School enrollment is 307 students, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grades. The district serves Spur, McAdoo, and a portion of Dickens. The mission of Spur ISD is to provide students with a high-caliber, competitive education for the 21st century, while interacting with positive role models in a climate conducive to learning. This will be done in such a way that: Students will learn problem-solving skills and become lifelong learners through the use of sound instructional techniques and a well-rounded curriculum; All staff members are committed to help students develop a positive self esteem; Staff, parents, and community members work together for the benefit of all students; and All students are treated fairly and equally; So that students will be self motivated, accept challenges, and become productive, responsible, respectful, contributing members of a diverse global society,
