  When the Class of 2012 received their diplomas they became the 132nd class to graduate from Cardington-Lincoln High School. The first class of seven members graduated in 1877. There were no exercises held in 1879, 1885 or 1892. The history of the school dates to the very beginning of the village鈥檚 founding. Their children鈥檚 education was a priority with the early settlers. One of the first structures erected was a cabin used as a school house on the west end of the cemetery. It was built by Slocum Bunker, son of Isaac Bunker, the community鈥檚 pioneer settler.

  The Mount Gilead School District serves a small and close knit community that is full of pride about their school district's academic success. The smallness of the community makes it easier for residents to "know each other" and to watch out for each other's children. It is a great place to raise a family in a small town with a sense of community. The Mount Gilead Exempted Village School District is making a difference in the lives of children and helps to provide a quality of life that is only found in the warmness of a small community in the heartland of our great state and country.

  The mission of the Northmor Local School District, in association with the Northmor Community, is to provide an atmosphere that promotes the development of lifelong learning skills. A positive self-concept within our schools will be promoted as students develop into productive citizens.

• TOMORROW CENTER

  
  

  The Tomorrow Center respects and reveres individuality while reaching towards each child's unique potential. Our purpose is to build a strong academic and social foundation for all students enabling them to communicate and contribute effectively and responsibly within their community. The Tomorrow Center meets the academic, emotional and social needs of individual students while preparing them for a successful transition to a better tomorrow.
