  Our Vision and Mission-NRMPS is focused on continuous improvement for every child, in every classroom, every day.In order to accomplish this vision, the Nash-Rocky Mount Public School System, working in partnership with our families and our communities, will:Nurture and educate every child,Respect and value diversity,Maximize learning potential,Produce globally competitive students in a Safe and orderly environment.We Believe-Students come first.Education is hope, providing choices and expanding horizons.Education is a shared responsibility among schools, families, and communities.Students need high expectations for success. Students learn best in a safe, nurturing environment.Diversity is valued when all people are treated with dignity.Learning is a life-long journey for all.About our district-Our district encompasses Nash County and parts of Edgecombe county. Nash-Rocky Mount Public Schools has 27 school sites and centers including 19 elementary, 5 middle, 4 high, 1 early college high school and 1 alternative school. More than 17,000 students are enrolled, with a diverse student body. The district is the largest employer in Nash and Edgecombe County with over 2200 employees. More than half of those are employed as teachers.

  Our Focus:As a college preparatory school, our curriculum is designed to that end. From kindergarten though the senior year, our curriculum is challenging and demanding in an age and grade appropriate manner and standards are high. Our school serves those students and families who are seriously committed to the expectations of our school, to attending school each and every day, and to completing assignments in a timely and thorough manner. It is only through such a commitment that students can succeed and grow in such an educational community.
