  Cusick School District #59 serves 280 students in grades K-12. We are located in an extremely beautiful area of Pend Oreille County in the northeast corner of Washington State. We are 50 miles north of Spokane and 18 miles from Newport. Cusick serves students from the nearby Kalispel Indian Reservation and the communities of Cusick and Usk.

  Newport School District is set among the vast evergreens of Northeast Washington and is bordered by the beautiful Pend Oreille River. The District offers a traditional school schedule as well as an Alternative Program. Newport School District also offers a Parent Partnership Program. The academic need of each individual student is our primary focus. We welcome the opportunity to challenge, nurture and encourage our students to reach their greatest potential.
