  Brittan Elementary School is located at the foot of the Sutter Buttes in the rural community of Sutter, eight miles west of Yuba City. Brittan Elementary School is committed to providing a strong instructional program for all students to ensure excellence in education.

  Located in Rio Oso, Browns Elementary School is a rural K-8 single school district. Our outstanding school encompasses a Preschool/Daycare, and Kindergarten through eighth grades all on a single campus. Browns Elementary School is not just a school - it is a community. All those involved with our school contribute time and energy to programs designed to enhance the school.

  The mission of the Franklin Elementary School District is to develop responsible and productive citizens, with strong academic and social skills that possess an appreciation for learning, and a belief in themselves and their abilities. This is accomplished by exposing each student to a rigorous core curriculum in language arts, mathematics, science, and social science delivered in a safe, caring, and respectful environment, which encourages hard work, perseverance, and personal accountability.

  Meridian Elementary School is a K-8 rural one-school district located in western Sutter County along the winding Sacramento River. Meridian is a unique rural public school with an excellent academic record and fine arts program. Each teacher is qualified to teach multiple grade levels and multiple subjects to give each student a well-rounded academic education.

• SUTTER COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION

  
  

  The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Office plays an important role in the delivery of quality education to the students of this county. We provide direct service instructional programs to nearly 9,500 students annually through infant programs, special education, vocational/ occupational programs, outdoor science, and alternative education. These programs are operated more efficiently by the county than by a school district (with economy of scale) and more appropriately than a school district with confined boundaries. The Sutter County Superintendent of Schools Office provides these services to district students through cooperative agreements among participants.
