  Mission: The mission of the Harmony Independent School District is for each student to develop to their full potential. The visual and performing arts are a vital component of our educational program. Music, art, and drama are integrated into class activities and showcased at milestone events. Its success depends on the entire community: students, teachers, administrators, parents, board members, community, and business persons. Union Grove is a community that wants not only academic achievement, but all-around programs that include outstanding extracurricular participants. Through an extended curriculum, students will be sufficiently prepared for college or the job market. The board, parents and community will financially support the district. This commitment will enable the school to function at a level competitive with other schools in preparing students for real-world challenges. In essence, our Vision is to be an exemplary school, a leader in producing outstanding students who will become productive citizens.

  The mission of Union Hill I.S.D. is to provide quality educational opportunities and resources to all students equally and to teach skills required to pursue a higher education or to enter into the diverse, ever-changing society. A comprehensive curriculum will be taught with strong emphasis on good citizenship, social skills, and problem-solving skills. Strong emphasis will be placed on high expectations, mutual respect, and life-long learning for all students, PK through grade 12, to achieve their full potential. Parents, teachers, administrators, school board, and community will work together to reach our goals and to ensure a safe environment conductive to learning.
