The Windham Elementary School offers an inclusive, educational environment serving students grades PK-6. There are two classroom teachers; PK-3, and 4-6. Currently we have 18 students enrolled PK-6. The principal is part time and physically in the school 10-15 hours a week. The school's academic programs are closely aligned with Vermont's Framework of Standards. These programs are supported by numerous activities and learning opportunities. In addition, the multi-age groupings provide opportunities to learn from peers, both older and younger. The small student body allows for more personal attention and academic support for the students. We as a school community strive to create an atmosphere which encourages acceptance, respect, and caring while teaching students to become responsible contributing citizens in today's world.
