  Area 30 Career Center provides half-day career and technical education programs for juniors and seniors, at least 16 years of age, who are enrolled in Cloverdale, Eminence, Greencastle, North Putnam, and South Putnam High Schools. These two-year sequenced career and technical education programs are high school electives. Juniors in the five participating high schools may enroll in one of these programs for one or two years, and seniors may enroll for one year. Two-year program completers have the opportunity to earn the maximum number of high school and college credits available in their program, while developing higher-level skills and abilities. These career and technical education programs prepare students for careers by teaching core technical proficiencies, employability skills, and job seeking skills, while integrating academic standards.聽

  Old National Trail Special Services Cooperative believes that every child has value, the right to dignity and respect, and the ability to learn. Children will learn at different rates and in different ways. Old National Trail Special Services Cooperative strives to provide an atmosphere where success can occur, where skills are enhanced, and where students are encouraged to become lifelong learners and contributing members to society.

• SOUTH PUTNAM COMMUNITY SCHOOLS

  
  

  Our school corporation, located in south-central Putnam County, is a rural area with only a few small businesses and industries. The corporation covers an area of 163 square miles and is crossed by Interstate 70 and US Highway 40 to the east and west, and US Highway 231 to the north and south. South Putnam has approximately 1,250 students in Kindergarten through grade 12 divided among four buildings including South Putnam Junior-Senior High School, Central Elementary School covering Jefferson township, Fillmore Elementary School in Marion township, and Reelsville Elementary School with students from Warren and Washington townships. 203 full and part-time staff members consisting of 92 certified and 111 non-certified personnel are employed in the schools. Our certified staff are highly trained and experienced with 61% holding masters degrees or higher, and an average experience level of 18 years.
