  New Community School welcomes your interest in exploring options for your child! As a free public charter school we: operate on state funds, are non-sectarian, and require family involvement (over 5,000 hours logged by parents last year). This time of year is exciting for us as it brings new faces to our vibrant community of families and staff. New Community School strives to meet each child鈥檚 academic and social needs. Our program emphasizes social development in conjunction with academic development by creating an environment where children and adults explore and learn together. Teachers develop creative curricula centered on themes, which help students connect subject areas and learn language and math skills in real contexts.

  Every school corporation in the state of Indiana has the opportunity to be a member of the educational service center that serves its region. The purpose of these web links is to provide interested persons with a brief description of the various services available to members of the Wabash Valley Education Center (WVEC). The composition of WVEC-provided services is a direct reflection of the needs of its membership. Center membership provides administrators, teachers, media specialists, and other educational personnel access to services such as cooperative purchasing, instructional and professional development media, staff development workshops and seminars, computer hardware and software purchasing, and audio/visual equipment repair.
