  The Harrold Independent School District teachers, staff, administrators, and Board members are committed to providing quality educational opportunities for all students.   Northside Independent School District is a public school district based in Wilbarger County. The district is composed of one campus, which serves grades K-12. Mission statement: The Northside Independent School District will educate, lead, develop, and mold our young men and women to be leaders, stakeholders, and vital contributors to the community, state and United States of America. It is the job of our district to build a strong foundation in our youth. This group of individuals is our future, and we will take every measure to give them the best tools and skills to build a better tomorrow.

• VERNON ISD

  
  

  The Vernon Independent School District offers a broad range of academic and extra-curricular opportunities for students. The district has a current enrollment of 2200 students and is classified as a 3A school by the University Scholastic League. The district has three elementary schools with McCord elementary serving students in grades PK 鈥� 1, Central Elementary serving students in grades 2 鈥� 3, and Shive Elementary serving students in grades 4 鈥� 5. The district has two campuses at the secondary level, the Middle School (built in 1998), serves grades 6 鈥� 8 and Vernon High School serves students in grades 9 鈥� 12. In addition to the regular campuses Vernon ISD also provides educational services to students at the North Texas State Hospital. Mission Statement: Vernon Independent School District is committed to the development of a school system in which all students can learn in a safe and orderly climate and one which all stakeholders can be proud of. We will be an exemplary education community respecting and valuing students, parents, community members, and district employees. Our students will understand that responsibilities accompany the privileges of citizenship and will have the foundation to be successful in their chosen endeavors.
