The communities of Caribou, Limestone and Stockholm have joined to form The Eastern Aroostook Regional School Unit #39 (RSU 39). RSU 39 is proud to offer a top quality education program that strives to meet the individual needs of all students. Serving over 1,700 students, a staff of 250 professionals and support staff work together to achieve our goals. All staff work to ensure high academic achievement for every child and the desire to work diligently in providing the knowledge and skills necessary for students to lead successful lives.RSU 39 includes: Hilltop School (Grades Pre K-2), Teague Park School (Grades 3-5), Caribou Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Caribou High School (Grades 9-12) and Limestone Community School (Grades Pre K 鈥� 12). Caribou Regional Technology Center serves as a trades skills training center for 250 high school students in Caribou as well as Presque Isle, Washburn, Fort Fairfield and Limestone. Approximately 2,000 area residents participate in Adult Education, which provides post secondary educational opportunities as well as high school and general vocational programming and serves the literacy, vocational and business training needs of the community.The RSU 39 Board of Education strongly supports athletics and other co-curricular activities. These programs are seen as integral and important components of a student's educational experience. In addition, the Caribou Performing Arts Center provides students and adults an opportunity to explore and enjoy the performing arts in a wonderful state-of-the-art theatre setting.
