Comfrey Public School is a K-12 system providing a quality education for approximately 170 students. The building, which was rebuilt in 1998, features geothermal heating and cooling, two fully equipped computer labs, and is handicapped accessible. Comfrey Public School provides indivdually challenging, lifelong learning experiences for all students, leading to productive and self-fulfilling roles. The students and staff at Comfrey Public School are all comitted to excellence. Comfey Public School offers a safe learning environment. Students enjoy a new building with the latest in classroom design. Small class sizes allow students individualized attention in a classroom setting with a low student/teacher ratio. Services necessary are provided for special needs children on an individualized basis. High School students at Comfrey are provided a full range of course offerings to meet the requirements for graduation and establish a foundation for post-secondary education and work skills. Meaningful lab experiences occur in Industrial Technology, FACS, science, and art because of our modern facilities and small class sizes. Students make use of our well equipped computer lab in all subject areas. A number of electives can be taken by interactive television from our up-to-date studio, especially in the area of foreign language. A majority of Comfrey graduates go on to post-secondary education and successfully complete their field of study.
