CJACS is a New Jersey public charter school servicing over 370 students with a K-8 educational program.聽 Our mission is two-fold: 聽arts integration and arts education.聽Our primary focus is the infusion of arts into every academic area, with a concentration on literacy. The teachers will not only provide lessons, but also creative academic experiences. Our second focus is exposure to the arts (dance, theater, music and visual art). We don鈥檛 expect every child to be a performer, but we do expect them to gain an appreciation for the various disciplines. They will learn self-discipline, confidence, leadership skills, and creativity by participating in the arts.
