MISSION STATEMENT-City of Burlington School District promotes that students learn at different rates and vary in their abilities to think abstractly or understand complex ideas. Through the assistance of the Local Capacity Building & Improvement Project for Special Education, the City of Burlington School District seeks to create and maintain learning environments that address the diversity typical of a heterogeneous classroom. The City of Burlington Schools strive to develop programs and improve instructional strategies that can address the variety of learning styles, interests, and readiness levels of our students in the least restrictive environment.
