Our Adult/Community Education Program has adopted the philosophy of the community school. The community school is a school which becomes a center of service to all people of the community for assistance in fulfilling their basic needs. Our Adult/Community Education Program accomplishes this by providing community services such as recreation programs, enrichment programs, vocational programs, home study courses, bus trips, and educational courses for people of all ages. The schools are also available for use by community organizations on a scheduled basis. Adult/Community Education programs succeed when the community takes advantage of the services provided. We urge you to take part in our programs by: suggesting ideas for our programs; volunteering to assist with our programs; sharing your skills or hobbies by instructing a program or by enrolling in one or more of our programs.
