The mission of Peninsula Preparatory Academy Charter School (PPA) is to create a challenging, academic environment of teaching and learning with an emphasis on developing the whole child through character development leading to world class citizenship. There are high expectations and focused instructional practices which guarantee that every child succeeds academically. Academic success at PPA聽is defined by scholar achievement as measured by聽 the attainment of the common core state standards as well as each scholar's demonstrated intrinsic motivation for learning. PPA will support teachers with high quality professional development opportunities aligned to the instructional programs and best practices in creating a nurturing school culture; as well as engage parents and the community as crucial partners in each scholar's individual and collective successes.
