Located in southwestern Wayne County, the Palmyra-Macedon Central School District enjoys the benefits of a rural atmosphere and a close proximity to Monroe County and the City of Rochester. The historic Erie Canal extends through the boundaries of the School District. The Village of Palmyra is home to cultural and historic venues; the Towns of Macedon and Palmyra are home to industry with longstanding roots as well as numerous commercial opportunities and recent developments. The Palmyra-Macedon Central School District has strong ties to numerous community recreation programs in addition to the wealth of opportunities in the surrounding area.
