About Gallipolis City

Description provided by the district or community — not part of the NCES dataset.

The Gallipolis City School District’s number one goal is “IMPROVING ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT FOR ALL STUDENTS”. Our mission is “All students will become successful lifelong learners.” Our staff and students are following Ohio’s new academic content standards to reach this goal. The academic content standards define what each child should know and be able to do at every grade level. These standards also let teachers know what they are expected to teach, and help them identify and measure what their students know and can do.
