The mission of the Newton Local School District is to provide an appropriate educational program that is significant, durable and transferable and have a learning environment that is physically and psychologically safe. The program will include activities designed to meet student needs through special education, vocational education and academic education. The goal being to produce a responsible, productive, goal-oriented member of society and the student will with knowledge, skills and/or attitudes acquired live his/her life by being a lifelong learner, apply learning to post-secondary education, to the world of work and/or to one鈥檚 personal life.
