The mission of the Fort Frye Local School District is to enable all students to develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to live as caring, independent thinking, productive citizens in a changing global society. While our district met 23 of 26 state indicators in the 2011-2012 school year, our students, staff, and community are striving towards "excellence." The Fort Frye District has one high school that houses grades 7-12 and three elementary schools for kindergarten through 6th grade. The district has a total of 84 faculty and professional staff members and 78 support personnel. Even though we are a small school district of approximately 1026 students, the 18 full-time bus routes cover 176 square miles in the Fort Frye School District.
