Glide is located in a beautiful, rural area along the world-famous wild and scenic North Umpqua River. This small town is 20 minutes east of Roseburg (by four lane highway) in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains of southwestern Oregon. We have an enrollment of 850 students attending school four days per week. Glide School District encompasses 1,264 square miles, extending from Roseburg to Diamond Lake . Within the district we have one large elementary school, one small, self-contained, remote elementary school, a middle school, and one high school.
