The Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit (BVIU) is comprised of the fourteen local school districts and one (1) vocational technical school in Beaver County. One of the Commonwealth's 29 Intermediate Units created by Act 102 in 1970, the BVIU is an educational service agency which provides needed and requested services to its member school districts. The mission of the Beaver Valley Intermediate Unit is to provide quality and progressive educational services to support the schools and the community of Beaver County.
