The Canton School District includes the city of Canton, South Dakota, population 3,110, residential tracts and rural farms. Located in the southeast corner of South Dakota, in Lincoln County, the district encompasses 191 square miles and was established in 1870. Mission Statement: Helping Each Student Achieve Success. The primary mission of our school is to provide all students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to graduate from high school and successfully complete a post secondary degree.
