South Carroll County Special School District is located on the southern boundary of Carroll County in West Tennessee. The district is located just east of Highway 22 in the city limits of Clarksburg. We enjoy the advantages of a rural community but are conveniently located approximately five minutes from Interstate Forty. Our small school setting is unique and enjoys close community involvement in school events and activities. The district office and Clarksburg School (Pre K-12) are housed in one building. The district supports approximately 400 students. South Carroll County Special School District consistently scores at or above state averages in most areas of school accountability measures. The school teachers are all highly qualified in the subject areas in which they teach. Students in grades kindergarten through eight participate in proven methods of learning. High school students participate in a curriculum designed to prepare students to enter college, technical training or the workforce.
