Humble Independent School District began over 100 years ago as a one-room school house with twelve students, a teacher and a four-month school term. Today, with 40 schools, more than 37,000 students and over 5,000 employees, Humble ISD is nationally recognized for the outstanding education it offers to students. Humble ISD is listed among the 25 fastest growing school districts in Texas, and is currently the 31st largest district in the state.
