Johnson City Independent School District is located primarily in Northern Blanco County, although touches or includes sections of Hays, Travis, Burnet, Llano, and Gillespie Counties. The district includes 531.5 square miles, and is comprised of three campuses, Lyndon B. Johnson High School (9-12), Lyndon B. Johnson Middle School (5-8), and Lyndon B. Johnson Elementary (K-4), all renamed in honor of our 1924 Johnson City graduate at the time he took the office of President of the United States of America (1963). Mission Statement: Johnson City ISD utilizes all resources to educate all students to their greatest potential.
