Pettus Independent School District is located in both Bee and Karnes Counties. PISD is comprised of approximately 186 square miles and encompasses the communities of Pettus, Tuleta, Choate, Normanna, Mineral and Tulsita. Campuses are located in the community of Pettus, TX. The MISSION of the PETTUS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT is to assure that all students acquire knowledge and develop the skills and work habits to enable them to become productive members of society. PISD believes that educating its children to be productive citizens in an ever changing society necessitates an excellent educational system characterized by quality, equity and accountability.
