About S AND S CISD

Description provided by the district or community — not part of the NCES dataset.

S & S CISD is fully accredited and Recognized by the Texas Education Agency and enjoys a wonderful partnership with its several Grayson County communities. Increasingly growing and changing in its rural, urban and socioeconomic make-up, the district offers a rich variety of programs to meet the needs of all its students. S & S is a consolidated school district that represents a diverse population in several communities in the heart of Grayson County Texas. Located north of the Dallas/Forth Worth metroplex, just west of the Hwy 75 corridor, S & S CISD has the advantage of being a rural district, adjacent to both the Lake Texoma Recreation Area and the Hagerman Wildlife Refuge. The district is also only minutes away from the McKinney, Frisco, Gainesville, and Sherman/Denison trade and shopping areas. It is a progressive system that seeks to shape the future, one child at a time, through a community partnership dedicated to excellence and innovation in both teaching and learning. Strategic Purpose: The primary purpose of the S & S CISD is for students to learn the knowledge and skills necessary to be productive and successful citizens. Mission: All students will have a positive learning environment that is favorable to developing the skills for success today and tomorrow.
