Manchester Elementary Middle School (MEMS) is a K-8 school located in the beautiful Northshire Valley, in Manchester, Vermont. MEMS is committed to engaging all students in academic work. Currently, MEMS has 435 students and 52 teachers. The school strives to maintain class sizes of 13 – 15 in grades K-3. Class sizes in grades 4 – 8 are between 16 and 22 students per section. Our Mission, as a professional learning community, is to engage students in academic work that results in high levels of achievement, responsibility and citizenship. We are confident that, with our support, students will master challenging curricula, and we expect them to do so. We are prepared to work collaboratively to pursue a clear, shared purpose for all student learning and personal growth. As a professional learning community, we take collective responsibility for achieving these goals.
