Middletown Springs Elementary School is a community school nestled in the central southwest region of Vermont. Surrounded by rolling hills, green meadows, and the vibrant community of Middletown Springs, the school building itself is a historical treasure. Built in 1904 and once serving students in primary grades up through high school, it now stands as a Pre-Kindergarten to grade 6th elementary school. Its character can be described as historical on the outside with a heartwarming learning culture on the inside. Our practice of holding high expectations for ourselves and our students while supporting the whole child is of great importance. Our school's vision is to become a sustainable and innovative model of a community school. As a community of learners, we will collaboratively nurture a positive environment that promotes and celebrates lifelong learning. We will use current, well-researched practices that focus on the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional well-being of the whole child. Every day at Middletown Springs Elementary School, we work collaboratively towards our vision, are proud of our students, and are grateful to have a community school like Middletown Springs Elementary School.
