Our school consists of pre-school through grade 12, all housed under one roof. School enrollment hovers around 440 - 460 students. We are located on Route 302 (Exit 17 off Interstate-91), just east from P & H Truckstop. We are also the home of the central office of School District 21. Blue Mountain Union School brings together the communities of Groton, Ryegate, and Wells River. BMU MISSION STATEMENT: Blue Mountain Union students will be prepared to meet the challenges of living and working in diverse and dynamic local and global communities. Therefore, BMU students will be knowledgeable, emotionally and physically fit, civically engaged, involved in the arts, prepared for work and committed to fulfilling personal responsibilities and maintaining economic self-sufficiency. Each student: 鈥� Will enter school healthy and will learn about and practice a healthy lifestyle. 鈥� Will learn in an intellectually challenging environment that is physically and emotionally safe for students and adults. 鈥� Will be actively engaged in learning and will be connected to the school and broader community. 鈥� Has access to personalized learning and to qualified caring adults. 鈥� Is prepared for success in college or further studies and for employment in a global environment.
