About Columbia (Walla Walla) School District

Description provided by the district or community — not part of the NCES dataset.

The Columbia School District is located in Walla Walla County at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers and encompasses the Burbank area, Charbonneau area to the east, and the Wallula area to the south. The district is small enough to maintain a rural atmosphere, but only eight miles from the largely populated Tri-Cities (Pasco, Kennewick and Richland). Our Vision: All students engage in relevant and challenging learning. Our Mission: In partnership with our community, we provide exceptional teaching and quality content that engages our students so they persist when experiencing difficulties and feel a sense of accomplishment when they succeed.
