The Kahlotus School District is located in Southeastern Washington, 45 miles NE of Pasco, Washington. The residents of the district are involved in cattle and wheat farming. A number of people in the district work for governmental agencies: Corp of Engineers at Lower Monumental Dam, Lyons Ferry Fish Hatchery, and Coyote Ridge Corrections Facility. Lamb Weston is also an employer of people in our district. Due to small class sizes, the District offers a unique teaching experience for both students and educators. Educators teach a number of related classes at different grade levels allowing students and teachers to build quality relationships throughout the student鈥檚 educational development.
