The White Salmon Valley School District is a small, consolidated district in Southwest Washington state, serving students from the cities of White Salmon and Bingen, and the outlying areas of Husum, Underwood and Snowden. Approximately 1200 students are served by Whitson Elementary School, serving students in grades K-4, Henkle Middle School, with students in grades 5-8, Columbia High School, grades 9 through 12. In addition, we also run The White Salmon Academy, an alternative school for students throughout the region. Our district is also the host for Giant Campus of Washington, a resource for online high school courses. Vision Statement: White Salmon Valley School District provides a safe environment where each student is encouraged to dream, is inspired to succeed, and is empowered to become a life-long learner.
