The Boscobel Area School District offers the best of two worlds, a school atmosphere that promotes small town values and robust educational resources normally found only in large city schools. BAS serves about 900 PK-12 students from the City of Boscobel, Village of Woodman, portions of townships in Grant County (Boscobel, Castle Rock, Hickory Grove, Marion, Mt Hope, Watterstown, and Woodman), portions of townships in Crawford County (Clayton, Haney, Marietta, and Scott), and a portion of Richwood township in Richland County. The District encompasses 185 square miles. BAS is committed to the belief that each child has intrinsic value. We give full consideration to each child's feelings of self-esteem and self-worth. We encourage each child to achieve to the best of their ability and encourage a wholehearted participation in life. BAS Students have ready access to digital learning technologies with fast Internet in classrooms to promote student engagement, encourage self-direction and foster critical thinking skills. Our Teachers, Staff, Administrators and Board of Education are dedicated to individual student success and work to provide the best educational opportunities for every child.
