The mission of the Sharon Community School, Sharon, Jt. District #11 is to provide an educational program that ensures equal educational opportunities for all children. These opportunities should be offered in a positive and healthy environment wherein students can develop self-esteem and individual potential. Achieving this will permit them to begin to acquire the intellectual, social, physical, and cultural attitudes and skills important to live in a democratic society and function in a diverse and changing world. The Sharon Board of Education believes that fulfilling the mission is dependent on a strong partnership between students, parents, staff, administrator and members of the community. This partnership becomes the foundation for excellence in educational programming and the children in it.
