The George Gervin Academy (GGA), a charter school operating since 1995, serves grades Pre-K to 4th and 9 to 12th grades. JAC is a non-profit corporation established to operate an open-enrollment Texas charter school district serving PK(4) through 12th grade students. The State Board of Education authorized JAC in January 2000 with 60 students on one campus in Bear County.
