Independent School District 15 is nestled in the woods and fields of northern Anoka County and southern Isanti County. This oasis of fresh air, water and livable space focuses on a quality of life that the residents feel is second to none, yet it is a mere 40 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Paul.
The school district is supported by a population of more than 26,000 that covers over 165 square miles and annually educates nearly 6,000 students and employs nearly 1,000 people.
The eight municipalities encompassed within the district include the cities of St. Francis, Bethel, East Bethel, Oak Grove, portions of Andover and Nowthen, as well as portions of Athens, and Stanford townships.
