The Centre Learning Community Charter School is an independently operated public middle school serving students in grades 5 - 8. CLC provides a small school environment with an emphasis on technology and project-based learning. CLC offers the small school setting and individual attention that middle school students need. The school has two teachers in each classroom and two full-time support teachers, creating a healthy 1:10 teacher-student ratio. Also, teachers are involved in multi-year relationships with their students. This allows CLC teachers a unique depth of insight into their students and what works for them. Finally, all community members are on a first name basis with each other. This helps to create and maintain an environment of mutual respect amongst students, teachers, and families of CLC.
