The Lower Dauphin School District is made up of five municipalities - the Borough of Hummelstown and the Townships of Conewago, East Hanover, Londonderry and South Hanover. Lower Dauphin covers close to 90-square miles and is home to 22,545 residents. About 4,000 young people attend our schools; with about 1,700 at the elementary level, 1,000 in the Middle School, 1,200 in High School, and another 100 at the Dauphin County Technical School. The Mission of the Lower Dauphin School District is to engage all students in a customized educational experience that prepares them to be self-sufficient and contributing members of a global community.
